Brands that create
belonging
outlive the people
who build them.

I find where demand is going unmet and build what belongs there, from digital products to the strategy behind them. No retainers. No ad management.

What I believe

Most brands chase attention. Attention fades the moment the feed refreshes. Belonging is what makes a brand outlast the trend that launched it, the moment that made it and eventually the founder who built it.

Everything I make gets measured against one question: does this create staying power that lasts? If it does not, I do not build it.

About

I'm Jon, founder of Brand Mav.

My background is a decade in branding, marketing and building strategic partnerships. Over the last few years I added a different skill: I build. Lately that has meant going deep into AI engineering, building tools, testing systems and learning the stack in a way that most people in brand strategy have not bothered to. The through-line is always the same. Find where real demand is going unmet, decide what the gap actually calls for, then build the thing that fills it and makes people stay.

How that takes shape

Three forms. One thesis behind all of them.

Digital products

Guides, reports and tools built around what the market is missing.

From downloadable companions to data-driven reports and interactive products. If the gap is informational, instructional or process-based, I build the asset that closes it.

Custom builds

The specific thing you need.

Internal tools, lightweight apps and custom software built by someone who actually understands the stack. Prompt engineering, workflow architecture and AI-native development applied to the specific problem in front of me.

Brand diagnostics

Clarity before you spend.

For businesses before a major hire, a scale push or a rebrand. Flat rate. Scoped tight. Done.
